Podiumsdiskussion - Decolonising allyship: towards an ethical storytelling and practical solidarity

In activism for freedom of movement and the right to stay, allies are needed. But often these allies become the main actors instead of being the allies of people affected by the European Border Regime. Stories are told without reflecting enough what images are transmitted. So how can we decolonise allyship? How can we do ethical storytelling? In the panel discussion, Alaso Olivia Patience from No White Saviours Uganda and Jennifer Kamau from International Women* Space will discuss these questions in detail. Together with you, the audience, they want to share their ideas, opinions and experiences to find ways to tell stories in an ethical way.
