Workshop Design and Facilitation - ONLINE SLE TRAINING

In professional contexts we often gather in workshops to discuss, plan, evaluate, solve problems, take decisions or share experiences. However, oftentimes better results could be reached by a more solid methodological design and a more effective facilitation.

Knowing some rules in for a more output oriented design, an adequate preparation of workshops as well as a sound set of facilitation techniques as the moderator increase the effectiveness and is essential to reach tangible and sustainable outcomes.

We will introduce participatory methods and tools for face-to-face as well as live-online workshops, reflecting on how to use and adapt these methods according to different objectives, contexts and phases of a workshop. Moreover, we will cover on attitudes and look into good practice both in designing as well as facilitating a group process.

This course is very hands-on in character and will emphasize on how to plan, design and implement participatory workshops with simple but effective tools and techniques and apply the newly acquired knowledge during the training course.
